Directions:
You are to create a mobile specific website for a local company. This needs to be a local for profit company, not a non-profit, nor a business that has gone out of business, nor a multi-location chain.
Note: A local company doesn’t have to be local to you/us. It just needs to be a small independent (not part of a chain) company that serves a local area. This could be anything from a barber to a restaurant.
Suggestion: Since this is for an actual company, you can use some of their content, assuming it is relevant, and appropriate.
This site needs to contain at least 5 pages that would be relevant to the company, and up to 15 pages.
This mobile friendly site should contain relevant information for a mobile user. This could include things like address, delivery info, products/services, etc.
You should avoid having pages that are too large as they will take too long to download for an end user.
Suggestion: Look at other companies local sites to decide what goes into them.
Purpose:
The purpose of this assignment is to learn how to build mobile friendly sites, without a framework. This means you cannot use a framework like Sencha, jQuery Mobile, Bootstrap, etc on this assignment. You can use a tool like Dreamweaver if you want, but you must build your own template, not use a template design that comes with Dreamweaver.
The information for this assignment will be used for your follow-up projects as well.
