I would like to introduce you to one of the easiest homework assignments you’ve probably ever gotten. Yes, this is for a grade, so don’t lose points over something so simple:
You are to email your instructor from your school email address. (There is a method to this madness – I swear.)
In the email subject, include your course number and section.
Inside the email body I’m looking for the following:
1) What do you plan to do once you graduate. (Graduate school, travel, find a job, still exploring options)
2) What do you hope to get out of this class.
3) Is there anything you wish to share with me, that might cause a problem for you with this class. Note, I know we are just meeting, and yo might not want to share. So this is only if you feel like sharing.
4) If you need help with a personal matter, especially a problem you may not want to share with me, there is a school provided counselor. What is their name?
